In this video, we have explained/ compared two popular international standardized tests of English i.e. IELTS or International English Language Testing System and PTE or Pearson Test of English. Both of the language proficiency is for non-native English language speakers like Nepali, Indian, Chinese, Pakistani, and so on. The tests examine the level of Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing skills.
This video is specially designed for Nepali students who are looking for abroad studies. Regarding popularity, IELTS is accepted by 10000+ institutions and recognized in over 140+ countries, which is very high compared to PTE. However, the educational institutions that most Nepalese students prefer usually accept/ recognize PTE as the popular destination for abroad students for Nepalese students are Australia, New Zealand, the United States, the United Kingdom, and New Zealand.

Both r english based tests to check your proficiency.You need to have good command over English to succeed in any of them.IELTS can be taken as pen and paper based test in most of the cities and computer based test in some cities.PTE is purely computer based test.

Computer IELTS को कुरा गर्नुभएन नि किन? ३ दिनमा आउँछ hard copy हजुर। ११ हजार universities colleges संसार भरी accept हुन्छ हजुर IELTS. IDP IELTS मा एकपटक बुझ्नुहोला। IELTS is the gold standard test with 35 years of history.

IELTS isn't a big deal. People try to make it more complex telling it is difficult. But actually if you are confident and have good knowlege and ideas about english language it's going to be super easy for you. Never think IELTS is complex it's simple than your imagination. Nonetheless I got 6.5 without any coaching and mock tests. So all the best.

I did IELTS 2 years back and got 6.5 but now since it expires, I want to do IELTS again cause I'm already familiar with the environment but heard that PTE is easy than IELTS. Nevertheless, IELTS is widely accepted so I think I will go with IELTS.

PTE is just like a playing game on computer, so i prefer PTE rather than doing Ielts.

You didn't talk about negative marking system of pte, and ielts doesn't have negative marking in any section. In pte marking system is different, for example, from read aloud marking goes to speaking and reading, write from dictation marks are divided to listening and writing, whereas in ielts, there is individual marking system. Also you talked mainly about ielts speaking where there will be examiner, it is not pen and paper based. In computer delivered exam of ielts for listening and reading section it is totally computer based where answers are checked by system not by human but writing section is examined by a person even though it is computer delivered.
