Proof:
*A circle with centre 'o'.
Line AB and line CD is the tangent of the circle at point P and Q respectively

PO=OQ=4.5 of the circle)

AB perpendicular to PO and CD perpendicular to OQ ____(3)---(by tangent secant segment theorem)

From 1 and 2
P-O-Q
l(PQ)=l(PO)+l(OQ)
= 4.5+4.5
l(PQ) = 9cm*
