Cyclic revision is a technique that uses a test series to test the revision. The test is then analyzed and the weaknesses are to be worked upon. This method uses the simple funda of "working on your weaknesses" to get sure shot improvements.

I know a person who worked hard ( with college) and completed the syllabus 90 percent but got only 30 marks in GATE 2020 . It is mainly because he didnt revise properly and thought only completing syllabus is enough to get atleast 50 marks but it was proved wrong .
