The idea of using it as a business expense might raise an eyebrow, but it's pretty smart. I purchased mine a month ago. gtx 1070 version for 1150$ No Warranty. I know people suggest it, but I can risk it. Electronics go down in price every year. I absolutely love the amount of heat dissipation it has; it's what drove me to it above other laptops. I wanted to say though your laptop can function at 100% without being plugged in. By changing it in nvidia control panel though I don't know what kind of stress it would put on the laptop if it was like that for hours on a heavy game.

Ive always own a high-end gaming pc. I need to buy this however, because im moving abroad and probably have to move around couple of times in a year or two. Getting a pc and switching countries every year would be troublesome.

I am about to buy it. I am in the price range and i am sold on the pros and cons but 1 thing i am scared of is the thermal padding problem that they have. Is it fixed? Should i take the risk and buy one? Cause if it works normally it fits me perfectly.

Alienwares look awesome but I always see them getting bad reviews for reliability. They choose form over function and their units tend to run excessively hot. If you're just a casual user that wants something that looks cool it's fine. If you're a power user you're better off with something like an Asus ROG, Acer Predator, or an MSI that have better airflow and cooling.
