I’m a security guard and I can tell you it’s the strangest job. You’re getting paid to look intimidating and call the police when something goes wrong. THATS IT. I’m an overplayed watch dog and it’s AWESOME.

The ending is a perfect one actually. The reason is simple. It shows that not everyone cares enough to act within laws. Thus your safety is your own concern first. More often than not it's better to comply with unlawful demands rather than fight them. The fact that they'll go to prison doesn't help you much when you are crippled for life or lying six feet under.

in the uk it’s aggravated trespass if you refuse to leave automatically when on a licensed premises, you can only use force in retail if they commit other crimes or in self defence only but in licensed premises (bars) you can use force if they refuse.

Thing is, bouncers WANT to fight, and they’ll hurt you given the chance. It’s better to comply with a bouncer because you could get very badly hurt with the wrong one

Door guy here, many years of doing this. When customers are asked to leave and they refuse, they were told that the cops would be called - nine times out of ten, they would say "go ahead, call the cops". And they were always surprised when the cops showed up.

Except 99% of the time the cops side with the bouncer because you’re drunk and he’s sober. Just leave quietly if the bouncer asks you to leave and you can come back tomorrow night. House has a right to ban anyone they like for any reason. Don’t give them a reason.

In other words, bouncers can not touch you unless their life is in immediate danger, they can kick you out, but they can not forcefully remove you, that is the officers job to remove you if you fail to vacate the premises after being asked to leave, also if a bouncer puts his hands on you to try and remove you that can be considered assault & you can protect yourself if you feel threatened.

My local dive bar never have functional cameras. Always something wrong with them.
I assure you the bouncer staff and even locals are gonna stay quiet in most bars if you ask for it
