Nominate a Community Champion 2021

We’re on the lookout for stand-out stories of the unsung heroes working in HIV across research, care, support, advocacy, policy, those working in rural or remote communities or even a much-loved ally like a work colleague, parent or partner doing amazing things to support people living with HIV or preventing HIV.

The National Association of People with HIV Australia (NAPWHA) and Gilead Sciences Australia and New Zealand recently launched the 2021 Community Champions – a new initiative to recognise inspiring work and action of our unsung HIV supporters.

Our inaugural Community Champions will be selected by NAPWHA and other community partners and formally recognised in the lead up to World AIDS Day this year.

This is your chance to finally spotlight that special someone’s great work of support and it’s simple to nominate. Nominate your champion by 8 October 2021.
