Hey everyone! 🌟

This summer, I’ve been all about flying tinywhoops, and I can’t get enough! In this video, I dive into why tinywhoops, like the Betafpv Air65 and Air75, have become my go-to drones for flying in parks and other tight spaces. From doing tricks and acrobatics to crashing without worries, these little drones are a game-changer!

I also compare them to larger 5” drones and other small models I’ve tested, like the YMZFPV Lightning2 and Darwin FPV Tinyape. Plus, I’ll share my personal FPV journey and why I think tinywhoops are perfect for anyone looking to push their flying skills to the next level.

🔸 Drones Featured:

• Betafpv Air65
• Betafpv Air75
• YMZFPV Lightning2
• Darwin FPV Tinyape

If you’re into FPV or just curious about tinywhoops, this video is for you. Don’t forget to share your experiences in the comments – I’d love to hear how you got into FPV and what your favorite drones are!

I'm so happy fpv has somewhat gotten out of the insane oversaturation of cinewhoops EVERYTHING

I'm so glad the community is embracing them a lot more now. I have flown my two Mobula 6 drones for years having the absolute best time for the reasons you specified. Welcome to our niche! 😁🤪

I bought my first tiny whoop (Air 65) a couple of weeks ago. i forgot about my 3, 5" and 2" quads.... even got in touch with analog.... the factor of not dissturbing people and dont have to drive kilometers to fly quads is so great.... i fly it every day indoor or in the backyard and i order a second one. its so much fun

I love the convenience of tiny whoops, I can fly my air75 almost anywhere inside or out

I use to be a hater on tinywhoops, until I bought one and tried it and now I fly them more than my 5 to 10 inch drones. My kids love being chased by my tinywhoop drones and it just makes flying around that much more fun.

Tinywhoops are just pure fun. Not as capable as bigger drones, but stress free, convenient, and feels more like a toy (in a good way)

I've got a flywoo Explorer and the air75, i find now im hardly ever flying the Explorer just because of the size and noise, its just easier to fly indoors or outside with the air75, you can push it harder without so much worry of smashing it up, no worry about people moaning about the noise, you can find more locations to fly it aswell, plus the batteries are cheaper and dont take as long to charge up 😎👍

I started with the Betafpv Meteor 75 and had a lot of fun with it. But when I built my own 5 inch (Yes, it was a Nord5 frame!!!) everything changed and I could feel the power of a real fpv racer! Every time I try smaller drones (I have two 3.5"), I miss my 5 inch! I still fly a Nord5 frame whenever I want to freestyle and recently I bought a 7 inch (GEPRC Moz7) for cinematic and long distance flights (I really love the sound of the 7 inch!) But I am lucky to live in a place where I have a lot of space and I don't bother anyone.

1st drone about 4 moth ago emax freestyle 2 toothpick. I had it about a month or so and you right to go to big places to fly is a big story all the time. So I got the rtf combo from sub250 the whoopfly16 and i loved it still flys like a champ is so robust but it is heavy to. There is no free lunch. Now i just got the mobula6 2024 since yesterday and now i just fly whoops becouse they are more fun and people in the park see it and laugh. They are not afraid its a completely different story than a toothpick. I did not try a 5 inch but tbh i will stay with my whoops just ordered the new betafpv air 75.

I shoot a ton with a Pavo20. I have it decked out with remote id and gps and I fly it for events all the time. I get so many kids chasing it that now I bring an adapter cable for my phone and I can take kids for rides. They freak out everytime. No one is scared of the tiny pavo. Bump up to even a 2.5 and it is louder heavier and it makes people more nervous. The 2" is totally not scary. I am now interested in going really tiny. The new Air65 looks really appealing and it is super super cheap. I wish there was a digital option. I need to figure out goggles I guess. It will be awesome for practice in tight spaces and proximity flying with zero consequences. But seems useless for any sort of real video use.

100% agree! I bought a pair of HDZero goggles about a month or so ago, and also purchased an Air65 which I have been flying around the house a lot and I love it, it just flies so well. Today I placed an order for an Air75 and I can't wait to rip that one around outdoors. I love my 5" quads but whoops are just so much fun themselves, I have really been missing out until now.

I started with a DJI mini 2 then got a 5 in fpv freestyle that was always being put in the shop. Then I figured out how to do most of the work myself and got a beta aquilla 16 and I have built several sense

I started with a 2.5" toothpick, 2s 1103 8000kv. I have tinywhoop s, and I have 5" quads, but I always pick a toothpick (2.5" or 3") for fun flying. I haven't tried a modern 17g tinywhoop yet, so I might like it.

I agree I don’t fly my 5” anymore although I build 3 and 3.5 sub250 very powerful. I also build 3s Tinyape with is my toy for small parks… I have walksnail and DJI, so I can’t go as small as the air65 but I would like to try

I just got the air75 and found this video . I fly big rc jets so I wanted a change cause the Karen’s out there aren’t fans of my planes . These tinywhoops are priced so well I’m glad there’s some sanity here

I am new to the whole RC-stuff and was flying in the simulator only, because I don‘t know which setup I want. Now, after watching this video, I am sure that my first drone will be one of this tinywhoops. Sure, the small form factor and the smb soldering isn‘t the best choice for beginners but for tinkering around on the drone itself I will upgrade to a 5“.

As controller the TBS Tango 2 looks good. I just need goggles and yes, the drone itself. Wondering how to find out which goggles fits to which drone and how to implement Crossfire.

May you have some suggestions on a set which is compatible?
I really like the Tango 2 controller. For goggles / drone I am very open. It should be digital though… if possible.

Nice videos btw! Keep up the good work!
Cheers
