I am kinda blown away by the fact that I knew almost all of these things but never thought about it as a whole concept. Things just got so clear to me, you're a legend, thank you a lot.

Thank you! I found this information extremely useful. With just a few simple adjustments, the track suddenly sounds great. I realized that my creative block was due to the low end—specifically, the drums not working well together. Once I fixed that, everything started to fall into place. The improved sound sparked inspiration, and every new element I added to the mix felt exciting and harmonious. It's amazing how much a small tweak can reinvigorate the entire process!

I've got value out of every single one of your videos that I've watched, and I've watched you for years now, thank you for helping me become a better producer. Arrangement is my weakness, along with melody.

Great breakdown of sidechaining and dynamic mixing! I’ve found that automating the attack and release times on a sidechain can add even more transparency to this technique. All the best.

I’m going to have to start watching your videos at 0.5x speed, so much information, so fast. I can’t keep up! But I love it, amazing video as usual. Thanks again for sharing your many wisdoms

it‘s a great idea to use a multiband to do selective ducking. however, now that the Pro-Q4 is out, you can also do it in the EQ with selectable bands as ducking triggers.

Realising this when it comes to layering drums was a game changer.

Hey Alice, how do you balance YouTube and music production? You release videos so often, have high quality editing, and on top of this you actually release great music. I'd love to hear your advice and personal schedule to manage both! Thank you :)

This is brilliant advice!!! I have been messing around with separating the high end and low end of sounds like drum hit's etc. You can create some wild sounds!!! Thanks Alice!!!
