Most of those homes looked rather sterile. Not cozy or rustic. Over excess is like eating your favourite ice cream everyday. I like small amounts of luxury. It nauseates me when it’s in front of me all the time

Nice, all of them. But the way the taxes are now in France, it is absurd to own an expensive property there. France has one of the worst tax rates on luxury properties.
Try Portugal, instead! Safe, beautiful at about a third of the price!
