Lviv Lemberg Lvov was ⅓ Jewish, not 1/5....equal parts Poles Ukranians Jews...part of Austrohungary and before PolandLithuanian Commonwealth, before the ethnic cleansing of Galicia and Wolyn by Nazi Collaborating Ukrainian nationalists, who slaughtered 100K Poles, with knives and axes, as well as at least that many or is it more, i forget, Jews....i support Ukraine, and Ukraine has obviously changed a lot, and modernized, but the use of Nazi insignia by Azov and other right wing nationalists is scary, not to mention renaming the town with the largest Pogrom in history after the perpertrator of the pogrom, cossack Khelmnitiski, is the other hand, it must be hard to reconcile that the greatest Ukrainian nationalists who resisted Russia in the past, were also antisemites.
