this is still going on daily, some of the worst deputy interactions on record. they are instructed to violate your right via sheriffs policies...so much for ethics. If you are not a VIP in Pasco, you are treated like a criminal!

My 7 year old son and I were driven into our front yard tree by my partner. They told me there was no crime because I got into the vehicle voluntary, no one was seriously injured and he said his hand slipped off the wheel. Then they were going to leave us there with him. I beg for an officer to jumpstart my vehicle so I could get protection orders, they of course aren't allowed. One officer repeatedly yelled at me and asked if I had been drinking (I am not a drinker at all) Smh. My son is the one who asked me to call police because his arm hurt after we crashed. As they spoke to me, my son interjected and said my Mom isn't lying. Smh. There was another incident before this one where I had injuries from my abuser, they said to me, he seems really sorry and you don't look like you are hurt that bad (scraped up knee and elbow) all in front of my son who was the one who called police. I got out of the abuse situation on my own, no thanks to any officers who protected my abuser.

I'm a 61 year old disabled woman in Polk County. I was a family friend of a local Lieutenant at the Sheriff's Office 5 years ago him and his brother got fired due to a pedophile situation I knew of it. What I didn't realize as quiet as they kept it and swept under the carpet I was a loose thread. And at that point on the harassment discredit and setups began I have been living in a horror alone corner like a rat by these individuals they have gotten my neighbor's involved the community involved and the police departments involved I have a false report of arson that officer was offered to quit rather than get fired I'm sure. Right on paper they can conspire to file false reports. I have video and pictures and Witnesses of the harassment when I go out to the community to go to my local vendors what has happened to me. I am falsely accused by my neighbors constantly. I found a false background check distributed to all of my neighbors when I researched it it was a court document number of years ago of a failed eviction attempt by an old landlord not false forced illegal entry which is a felony. I've had my car vandalized 44 times, the officer came to my home 8 x broke until call my things nothing was done. My dog has been killed my life has been destroyed discredit campaign so you it's my own family believes these things I have death threats Around the Clock which is now sitting in the state attorney's office by one perp who admitted that my neighbors put him up to this. Why because they were told I was just really bad person according to them

In a way what is a surprise about this report is that it has taken SO LONG to get any legal or media attention to how Pasco County treats its workers. From the PCSO, to other County agencies, the treatment is really bad. Punitive, retaliatory, and extremely bad management.
