Don't be Fooled!! This Cheap Yellow Display Can Do a LOT!!

Recently, community member @BrianLough introduced me to this Cheap Yellow Display and all of the great projects centered around it! This $18 screen is so super versatile and easy to use that it is a serious contender when it comes to integrating not only a touch screen display, but also WiFi and Bluetooth!

Awesomw video as always! Couple of things though. 1. You absolutely can connect an SMA connector to its ESP32 via the antenna mod (really easy as well) and combined with a case that has a hole with it, you can have external antenna. 2. On the same token, if you connect a gps module, you can have external gps antenna as well. 3. You can also have an external battery wired up if you change the connector. 4. There's also the Guition jc4827w543 variant that has capacitive IPS and battery and GPS connection. Only issue is there's no case design or support for it as of yet ☹️

Sometimes when it’s crash on web flasher u need to put it in flasher mode And just hold the BOOT BUTTON and then click flash. Maybe this will help someone ❤️

Adding gps is also easy. Currently waiting for SMA connectors to add external antenna, and fit it with a 18650 battery and design a case for it.

9:45 looks like that example is for the CYD not the CYD2USB which is the one u bought, it needs some tweaks on the TFT setup otherwise u get inverted colours and other fun stuff (that clock is supposed to be yellow on black ) :)

For me the Flipper zero is expensive (special if I want Marauder too) so I really love this kind of gadget which can reproduce some part of it and they are cheap :D
