iOS 17 release date & supported devices

iOS 17 will become our next generation of iOS in June 2023. This should be a major update and added a lot of new features. A lot of devices will be eligible for iOS 17 and you will be able to install this update even though your device is a bit old. iOS 17 should support iPhone X all the way up to iPhone 14 Pro Max (Including iPhone SE 2nd and 3rd gen). However, the iPhone 8 series will drop support, and iPhone 8 series users can't install iOS 17. Also, iOS 17 will be pre-installed on the upcoming iPhone 15 series.

iOS 17 first developer beta will come out on June 5, 2023, first public beta is expected to release on July 10, 2023, and the final version of iOS 17 is expected to release on September 18, 2023.
