I just got my FT-817 working with the STM32-DVM board (HAT) version. This is a cool project but the documentation how
to do this doesn't exist. I only had to adjust the atten pot and Rx pot to make sure the clipping light was off.
I also had to change in the EXPERT section of the pistar software the TX and RX invert for both to be 0 (zero).

I picked up the STM32-DVM and have it mounted like a HAT on top of my raspberry pi 3B+. I have the the attenuator and gain control set to prevent clipping. So far no luck beyond that. Would you be able to offer some help how to configure it to my FT-817?
I made up the cable but I am not 100% sure of the connections on the DB 9 side. I could use some help. Thanks, Ken N1KK

I'm not quite following what you are doing. Are you using a FT-817 to talk and receive on DMR? Many years ago I did something similar by using my FT-817 making it work on Dstar. I did the same with my FT-857 and IC-706MKIIG. It took a laptop with external sound cards along with a DV Dongle. I did this about 10 years ago. Can you explain a little bit about what you are doing, along with the external hardware and what the purpose of the external hard does. Thanks, Ken
