Greater no-horned rhino🦏?

After taking a closer look at Alta's calf, you may have noticed she's lacking a prominent feature—her horn! Thankfully, it hasn't fallen off or gone missing, it just hasn't grown in yet.

This tiny tank's horn, which is made of keratin, will begin to fully develop around 6 years and continue growing throughout its lifetime. Chubby unicorns like to file their horns on rocks, trees, and other rough surfaces to keep them at a manageable length.

I was raised on nature shows with the belief that rhinos are vicious. I've seen a video of a rhino tossing a ranger car around like a ping pong ball. I love seeing the newer stuff that shows how sweet they can be. I'm all for the new regular of keepers forming a bond with their animals.
