Hi everyone! In this video, I'll be unboxing and demonstrating the JBL Vibe Flex earbuds. I'll show you how to set them up, pair and switch between devices, operate them, and troubleshoot common issues. While I focus on this specific model, most of these tips will apply to other JBL earbuds as well.
There are timestamps (above), so feel free to jump to the sections you're most interested in!
The JBL Vibe Flex boasts impressive battery life, outlasting many competitors like Apple AirPods in a single listening session. I won't be using the included USB-C cable, as I have my own setup to show you.
You'll also notice the unique case design—it's reminiscent of the free soap you'd find in a hotel. The magnetic attachment system securely holds the buds in place within their charging case, preventing them from accidentally falling out.
For charging, a quick 10-minute charge in the case provides 2 hours of listening time. I'll demonstrate how these earbuds connect to my iPad and switch between devices, showing how it takes a moment to disconnect from one and establish a connection with another.
If you're using an Android device, you have the option to download the JBL app for enhanced functionality. I'll walk you through that process too. But what if you don't want to use the app and want to connect straight away? I'll cover that scenario as well.
In comparison to Apple AirPods, JBL earbuds may require a different approach when switching devices. AirPods automatically connect to a new device from the Bluetooth settings, but I'll show you the process for JBL earbuds.
If you experience issues like Bluetooth connection loss, intermittent audio, or sudden stopping of audio, I'll share some troubleshooting tips. In my case, I often switch between devices and experiment with the equalizer feature on my PC, Mac, and iPad. A quick fix might be putting the earbuds back in the case for a few seconds. If that doesn't work, a factory reset might be necessary.
