Why 718 4cyl ?? I can put a v10 in it if you want porsche did a good job with the cayman an boxster but replacing that legendary v6 was a mistake

I remember checking out of the Wilderness Lodge in Disney...as my wife stood with our week's worth of luggage, I pulled up in our Boxster. We actually drew a crowd of people watching to see how that luggage was going to fit in "that little sports car". Of course it did...and we drove comfortably 950 miles home. Fun memory!

So many people jumped on the bandwagon about the engine.
The 4cyl engine is fine. The base 718 engine feels way faster than a base 981. And the sound is not that bad. Just because motortrend says it sounds bad doesnt mean you have to hate it too. They just want to find something negative about it because thats their job.

Wenn der Motor, eines ansonsten genialen Sportwagen, so schlecht klingt, dass er sich nicht verkauft macht man vor lauter Verzweiflung auch Werbung mit dem Stauraum. Baut in das Fahrzeug bitte wieder einen vernünftigen Motor. Der Vierzylinder ist, vor allem mit diesem unterirdischen Klangbild, eines Porsche nicht würdig.
