A Roundtable to Commemorate National Disability Employee Awareness Month (NDEAM) October 2021

NDEAM is celebrated every year in the US to commemorate the accomplishments of persons with disabilities and celebrate their contributions to the economy and society. Since we don't have an equivalent of NDEAM in India, we at Rainmaker decided to use October to sensitize the folks towards PwD and their greater integration into the workforce and acceptance in society. The government has passed the revised version of The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, and there is some movement towards setting up policies for employing PwD. This Roundtable is an initiative to contribute to the movement.

With expert panelists, Kanchan Pamnani, Advocate and Solicitor, Virali Modi, Motivational Speaker, Model, Influencer, Disability Rights Activist, and Gaurav Kalra, Sports Journalist, this event became not only hugely informative but also enormously entertaining.
