Lyrics:
Boohoo, tell me who you're even cryin' to
Who's who? Must'a got her mixed up with you
New you, think you're the shit for outdrinkin' the room
22, still 5 years from what you're plannin' to do

Can't ever really go one night, nah
Without another fuckin' fight, nah
Couldn't do this all my life, but
I couldn't leave her if I tried

So what's the cheapest way to go?
Is it cyanide smoke?
Is it a chair under the ceiling fan,
A rope around my throat?

You change up like a mood ring, it's confusing
Yeah, I never know what the hell you're thinking
Your mystery is misery, the fucking death of me
Cause your mouth don't match what your brain is thinking

Running low
Your colors change when we’re alone
You’re my nicotine
I’m craving all the agony

Cause I gotta cut it off
And throw it away
You got a lot of problems
But nothing to say
I’ll never learn
To walk away from you

Will we go out with a show?
Maybe double up our dose?
Or by making snow angels
on the busiest of roads?

You change up like a mood ring, it's confusing
Yeah I never know what the hell you're thinking
Your mystery is misery, the fucking death of me
Cause your mouth don't match what your brain is thinking

=====

The pop-punk band Ivypaint was formed in 2018 in Orlando, Florida, by Sean Duong (Vocals), and eventually filled out by Christian Wheeler (Lead Guitar), Jason Flanders (Drums), and Cal Mueller (Rhythm Guitar). With an emphasis on catchy melodies, vulnerable lyrics, emotive vocals, and driving guitars, Ivypaint cites influences such as Neck Deep, Waterparks, and Blink-182. Their debut EP “Quiet Compassion,” featuring lead single “Little Liaison,” was released in June 2019, as the creative output that Duong utilized as an emotional therapy of sorts, covering topics such as failed relationships, and questionings of mental stability, all while still maintaining melodic sensibility. Since the release of “Quiet Compassion,” Ivypaint have been in full throttle, creating buzz within the alternative scene with their sophomore EP “Blue Light,” featuring singles “50/50” (featuring Kellin Quinn of Sleeping With Sirens), and “Melatonin.” Now, the quartet has proven themselves as a force to be reckoned with, as they begin to roll out their third EP "Never Pleasure."
