Starting with the Design & Build, the Honor Pad X9 boasts sleek dimensions, measuring 267.3mm in width, 167.4mm in height, and a slender 6.9mm thickness. With a weight of approximately 499g, it's a lightweight companion for your on-the-go needs.

Moving on to the Display, the tablet features an expansive 11.5-inch TFT LCD (IPS) screen with a resolution of 2000 x 1200. With its rounded corner design, the actual viewing area may be slightly smaller, but the display offers a vivid visual experience with 1.07 billion colors. The tablet also supports L1 Widevine (DRM) certification.

Great review 10/10. Such a good review I purchased the tablet from amazon UK who were on a discount. In using it I have found it 10/10 and totally satisfying. What a bargain. Just wondered if you know if there are controls for the speakers or a graphic equaliser to change the sound??

I have an old Samsung A6 tablet from 2006 I use it mostly for a app that allows me to use to view a camera as a baby monitor. The Samsung is old now doesn't get any updates and I am after one with the same size battery and more secure would this be a perfect replacement

I am stuck between choosing the Pad 8 or the Pad X9 because both have their own merits. The Pad 8 has a bigger and better screen and also comes with a charger. The Tab X9 is newer, has a faster cpu and the latest version of Android which should allow for more updates over the next two years. At the moment the Tab X9 is only £20 cheaper than the Tab 8 and that's little more than the price of a decent fast charger which I will have to buy separately so the relative price is basically the same. I will be using the tablet mainly for browsing, chatting and streaming live sports and watching programs but am not particularly bothered about gaming. I am leaning more towards the Tab X9 because it is the newer model but am concerned about how the sound works in portrait given that it only has speakers on 3 sides, which means that the right side in portrait doesn't have speakers. Is this an issue or barely noticeable? Also, when in split screen mode in landscape, which i would sometimes use to watch a sport and use a chat app at the same time how does the keyboard work? Does it stay within the chat app part or will it still take up the full width of the tablet? Btw, I really like your reviews, very precise and informative. Got thumbs up and subscribed from me!

Hi, Very helpful video. Honestly I was planning to buy the Honor Pad X8A But now I I have made my decision after seen your video about the Honor Pad X9. BTW This tablet it's called X9 wifi in the Netherlands, Europe. Unfortunately no charger in the box. That's no problem. I'll buy an original Huawei/Honer charger for this tablet elsewhere.
