Leave it to the Blue Jays to send a power hitter that's hitting well to triple A. How does Barger not make this roster?

Whats Barger goto do to make the team.
I love how he plays
He runs out every play no matter what. He plays the game as it should not taking anything as a given. He hit 400 and has a cannon arm, 4 times the home runs of others.
Maybe he need to hit like $#!T not run out every play just assuming he is out, and get payed $150m to get a shot at MLB.

If Barger does well in AAA, he should be the next one up… especially if Springer or Schneider falter.

Roden must play daily. If not send him to Buffalo for every day play. Barger should be up with the big team he deserved it.

I wanna see Roden at DH/RF platoon.(Wagner can DH when Roden Plays RF) This is what this team needs to run.
Bichette SS
Santander LF
Guerrerro 1B
Roden DH
Gimenez 2B
Kirk C
Lukes RF
Clement 3B
Straw CF

Springer can platoon with Straw in CF, but to me straw plays 70% strictly becayse what ive seen of the bat. straw is doing way better with the bat

Lol, the Jays cleanup hitter was Cleveland no. 9 hitter. Roden has the tools but can he adjust? The jays should play him everyday til Varsho is ready and have MLB expose his flaws just like they did with D. Schneider. With a larger sample size and scouting MLB will find his weaknesses and adjust how they pitch to him. I predict Roden will have a decent start like Schneider did. Most teams will not know how to pitch to him at first, but once they have an I depth scouting report, Roden will hit a wall and slump. Hopefully, the timing is right, Varsho returns and Roden can go down to the minors and work on his adjustments tk the scouting report. This is what the Jay's should have done with Schneider once his inability to lay off the high fastball was exposed. Instead, the incompetent front office and hitting coach did nothing but take away his confidence that lead to a terrible season for him.

You know they're trading Barger soon for nothing, some light hitting defensive player and Addi will go rake elsewhere.

My concern is actually Santander/Springer. Springer looks almost checked out at the plate. For a guy to makethat kind of money and to consistenty hit .120 is simply not good enough and I believe thats why they all made it. I dont see Springer being an everyday player this year. They gave him the benefit of the doubt last season let him play and he didnt play through it, and the same things has started this year. I expect Springer to get alot less at bats .
And the reason im worried about Santander is 1 HR in amost 50 AB. He was brought it in to hit HRS. Hes hitting a respectible .286 but thTS NOT sustainable for him imo. Hes going to need to hit the HRS.
To me if they want to succeed this year Springer needs to take a more bench role this year be the veteran bench presense a guy ike Belt was. Maybe that keeps him healthy and fresh for when he does play. . To me you cannot put Springer that high up in the batting order when hes an almost for sure out. He needs to be down in the 7 or 8 hole when he plays, Im tired of giving Springer the playing time just becayse of his salary . Hes NOT playing well with the bat. He needs to sit and change his role on this team

Myles Straw reminds me of Brady Zimmer. Speed and defence guy

It will be interesting to see what the Jays do with Springer if he keeps sucking so bad. If they really want to win they might have to cut their losses and release him.

Roden is the real deal! He will threaten 30 homeruns this year if he stays healthy

Key word being mash. The Blue Jays will only go as far as they can mash.

Now we get to watch Davis strike out every time on high fast balls. I don’t know what goes through managements minds

I don't think shitkins has the guts not to play Springer everyday. He will get the occasional mtce day. He was their big signing. They don't like to admit their failures. I wish Springer would go to a 3 day work week but it won't happen. Another 2 years of an automatic out in the order

They should trade Varsho they have enough good outfielders also to forget that nightmare of a trade for the Blue Jays with Arizona

Horwitz's issue was position. He just never had an ideal fielding position. I loved the guy and my hope was he could stay at 2nd but it didn't work out
