ENFP Shadow Mode : The ENFP personality Under Stress

#MBTI When it comes to extreme times of stress the ENFP can go into their shadow mode. This causes them to behave rather differently than their usual selves, which can be confusing for those around the ENFP personality type. This, of course, can also be confusing for the ENFP, causing them to second guess themselves and feel a bit lost when it comes to their choices. They are normally self-confident people who follow their own inner voice, but during this time when they are in their shadow it doesn’t seem like the ENFP is all that trusting in themselves or their belief system.

Wow!! Thankyou so much for this video, I feel I've been stuck in shadow mode for years, but it makes complete sense now!! That's funny about remembering details, I have always told my friends that I always remember stupid stuff that won't ever further me in life lol!

I do get the message of this video, but it's a very simplified one. I'm ENFP and I soak up knowledge and facts like a sponge soaks up water and I love to share this knowledge with others.
I'm a former biochemist, a field of expertise which I still indulge myself in as in a hobby and to help people understand science easier. Now I'm a voiceover artist and a freelance recruiter. One way to be funny and creative and the latter helps me to help others in chasing and achieving their dreams and goals and uncover their personal and unlimited potential.
I do have lots of patience, but I get irritated quickly if something doesn't add up or someone is being very illogical (especially when the consequences also effect others) and I do run out of patience quickly if someone doesn't get common sense and tries to overthrow facts with a bullshit-story having no proof.
Thing is: I don't need to be stressed out to be like that. I do have my values and I will stand up for them, but I don't take a blind eye to facts and common sense. If something doesn't feel right, if someone stops at nothing causing even stress and discomfort for their loved ones or if someone is just talking bullshit and tries to sell it as "truth", I'll be the first to take the lead and go up against it.

I had a phone call with my mom yesterday, she's ESTJ and I realized once more, how similar we both are on one hand and how different we are on the other hand.
She's much more organized and structured, is a very responsible person, but she is also a very caring and empathetic individual, even though most people would just stereotype ESTJs as coldhearted et cetera... when in fact most ESTJs are actually very caring individuals. Sometimes their comments cut through to one's heart like a hot knife through butter, but in the end they'll come around and ask, what lead you to act a certain way or why you made a certain mistake earlier and if something emotional is behind this pattern, they will help you to get rid of any negativity and letting it all out and go afterwards. At least if it's not an unhealthy ESTJ.
If someone feels sad around her she immediately asks what happened and tries to help. She even hugs strangers when she feels it's necessary to help them feel understood and cared about, it's just common sense for her to do something like this. She is the first one to stand her ground against injustice and the one who stashed away all her dreams and goals to make sure that my sister and I had a good life with someone who cared about them (she didn't experience that in her childhood)... and she is finally breaking free and starts to pursue everything that strikes her fancy and interest. She literally said she wants to be free and enjoy her freedom.
Something I actually achieved much earlier than her, because I questioned myself, if I try to take on responsibilities, which are actually not mine... so I got help from someone I trust and who's more experienced than I am. It helped me a lot.

Thank you for using that annoying robot voice instead of narrating it yourself.
