Learn 1 - 100 Times Multiplication Table | Easy and fast - Akash Vukoti
Multiplication is no more than just a convenient way to add large groups of numbers, or groups of numbers, together. It is safe to say that it is possible to live and survive without it. But most of us would agree that math is pretty miserable if we are not confident with multiplication. Basically, its sole function is to make most of what is possible with math easier and faster. Without it, most math (past the basic/beginning elementary level) would be nearly impossible. Unfortunately the only way to make math easier is to memorize and ultimately learn sets of multiplication tables. Anyone who has gaps some of these tables commonly find themselves confused, frustrated, or lost at some point in time as they are expected to progress into more complex maths. Hopefully some of these videos will help. They are not something you can watch and instantly be able to recall multiplication facts the moment the videos end. Instead they are well-known options you may find useful. For example, if you are working on some problems that you know have factors of 8 in them, you may memorize the method of being able to reproduce the 8s times tables and write it on scratch paper. Then you will have it available while you work. The more often you write it out from memory, quicker you will be able to recall the factors without having to write out the table first. If there are some multiplication factors you do not know, you have to either decide to finally learn them or not. Everyone who knows how to multiply had to memorize the multiplication tables at some point. Since memorizing “anything” can be accomplished in different ways, these videos may be an approach you can work with better than the methods presented to you in third grade.
