This video may be posted almost over two years ago but it has really changed my life...I was able to adjust my perspective in life and try my best to apply compassion to every thought and action in my daily life and I was able to reconcile and strengthen the relations with my loved ones which I could not fathom to do because I lacked the confidence. Thank you so much Thay. Buddhism is indeed more than a religion but a way of life. I definitely urge others to give Buddhist teachings a try because it is possible to inevitably end your suffering.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you CCARE, this is amazing, incredible, I can listen this talk so many times and always there is some more to learn and understand, because Venerable Thay is more marvelous than I can write in words, there is no word than can explain how extraordinary is this Great Zen Master. I love his teachings, I love his community of Nuns and Monks, every one of them are great. Lot of hugs. Evangelina Cortes.

Compassion combined with conscious awareness is immensely transformative not only in society but in the mind itself. Mindfulness therapy teaches you how to direct mindfulness toward your emotional pain, anxiety or depression. This approach heals.

i've been watching him since 10pm. it is now 4:40am... a few weeks ago, a customer came to test drive my car, and suggested i google him, but i didn't bother doing it, amely because i've become an atheist recently; i was a catholic, and was trying to stay away from all religions. but tonight, i was watching some yoga and saw his name and clicked on it. i'm glad i did

It's interesting how these wise people effortlessly make you rethink everything. I came here after searching for how to be more compassionate. Now I'm wondering if maybe I need to first "understand suffering". Only YouTube knows where that will lead me!

I love his courage to say that many would not dare to say (even myself) Ego, pride can easily stand like a wall between true loving speech 42:00. So strong and loving to say that brings healing, joy and happiness :) We often see our self as victim which is not true. Also very hard to have the courage if you suffer a lot which manifest as ego and pride. Instead of right speech.

Thich Nhat Hanh never stops to impress me, he really worked with his suffering to overcome it more and more. I need to go back to practice. Or else i fall back to suffer more because distractions around me. Compassionate meditation is great to transform your suffering to happiness your suffering will transform you to be. I also love how he says that without suffering there is no happiness cuz without suffering there is no happiness . It's very true, we tend to wanna be happy all the time but in reality we do suffer some which is good to face with compassion or else that suffering may grow stronger in us

That's really good.. have a man and woman practicing compassion to show as an example what it's like. Everything is falling apart and our problems seem to be multiplying exponentially.. we need compassion research..
