I use double solo cups for starting seeds, the inner cup is a clear solo cup so i can see when it is root bound an time to transplant into something larger.

I have been using the 2 cup method for about 3 years now, and it has been very successful. And once plants are planted into the soil, I save the cups by washing them first, and letting them dry, and store them for next use.

Ad a couple small hole on outside cup about an inch in a half from bottom. Them you could water multiple cups in a tray as ebb and flow or water cups with excess water running out. ❤

This is a great way to propagate basil & tomato. I just did one of each~! My sweetie cherry tomato plant is 4 years old & I've taken hundreds of clones from her.

I used this method and it worked like a charm, no gnats in my tomato’s or anything. Thank you man 🙏

Did this last year and I had nearly all of them to plant (45 plants) I didn't even have that much room in my garden. I gave about 15 plants away to friends and neighbors. Definitely doing this method again

Which hydroponic nutrient solution do you use? Is it a commercial fertilizer or do you make your own?

Just get a 1020 insert. The 1020 acts as the reservoir for bottom watering and you an reuse it year after year and the pots won't fall over. Been around forever.

I was wondering what can I do to all the cups from Christmas and I found this video, now I know exactly what to do... nice video

The solo cups with the square bottoms are great because you can just turn the cup so the corners don't match and it will nest higher up. No pebble required.

Holy schnitzel! I probably will just reveal my own ignorance, but I was using solo cups to "pot up" my seedlings when they got big enough, and had cut holes in the bottom for drainage. This 2 Cup Method is WAY better and still validating that I wasn't crazy/stupid for using solo cups! THANK YOU!

this is my first attempt at the 2 cup method. I use the red solo cup on the inside and a clear solo cup on the outside so I could see the water line after watering as not to overwater. I love this method and will use it again.

Save your twist off water bottle lids in place of the pebbles in bottom cup. Clean, flat and easy

Newbie here, what is the hydropinic solution you use please? And do you water into the outer cup or from the top down?
