I love Kylo Ren in this scene when Rey said she's never felt so alone, and Kylo Ren says that she's not alone. God this warmed my heart. Awesome

the part where their outstretched hands are in the same frame is a nice call back to the force awakens where his gloved hand was reaching for her mind. The first movie he wanted to take from her, and the second she wanted to give to him. hopefully in the third they give to each other.

The only way to recover after the TROS rubbish ending is by re-watching all the force bond scenes. At least Rian gave us these 🙌

Judging by their close quarters and the way she was confiding in him.... he must have been waiting for that moment for a long timeee lol he was so ready to touch back. I’m sure he was glad she made the first move... and he never took his eyes off of her through that scene

I love it how he puts his glove off before stretching his hand to her. Romance or no romance, they had such a unique connection. One where they could be open, vulnerable and true around each other. I think in so many ways Kylo/Ben was so honest and genuine with Rey all the time, in words, gestures and actions.

Even if they did not love romantically each other (which I have yet to decide), they cared and understood the other more than they thought anyone cared for them or understood them.

This is ONE OF the best scenes in star wars history, from the context of the film alone and before TROS, we see that both Rey and Kylo actually have a lot in common, they both are trying to find their place in the galaxy, this leads to both of them having an unexpected bond in the force, and with these scenes, we see the two of them connecting and understanding each other more and more, to the point where if the two of them could resolve their differences, like they were about to in this scene, then this could have lead to REAL balance in the force for the first time in Star Wars history, its a BEAUTIFULLY INTERESTING CONCEPT with so much potential that I'm so sad it wasn't expanded upon in TROS.

I think Rian said somewhere, that 1:00 is the closest to a love-making scene in a Star Wars movie, that Disney would ever let anyone do. Made me laugh, but it really feels intimate.

The sound of thunder crashing when they touched, and the force sounds when they have their visions. AH.

and imagine how scared poor ben was for rey given his history with luke and the same breaking of the hut and all (bc ben did it to protect himself but luke did it to break rey and ben apart)
