this is one of my favorite videos on the internet. I always come back to this channel as a whole as it has many many songs that i love, but this one in particular just resonates deep with me. I always thought aging was beautiful as it's simply part of life's cycle, but it's also sad when i think about the fact that we're all gonna be old one day, and looking back on a time where we were young and enjoying life differently.

We see death slowly creeping up and we think about all the time that we lost, the opportunities that we've missed, people that we've lost around us, old loves and crushes that we wish we could've talked to or simply wishing that we could go back to these times and re-live all those moments. A point in life where we simply had different or maybe less worries. Where we were not nessecarily thinking about the future. Where a specific passion, hobby, job or person etc... animated us and made us feel alive. The look in the man's eyes at the end of the video says it all. The yearning for living those specific points in time and space just once again...

I'm 19 and just living the last bits of my "teenage" years, i'm anxious in nature and overthink about the inevitable future and what it has for us all the time, but i've been trying my best lately to simply live day by day and enjoy what life gives to me. Grateful that everyday i get to wake up and nothing immediatly menaces my life, that i'm well and my family is too. Enjoy life through it's great and happy moments as well as it's hardships, live today and not tommorrow, and take care of your loved ones cause you always realize how important something is and how much you miss it the moment you lose it. 🤍🤍
