**Thank You** Because of you my orchards are finally growing beautifully. I must tell you, I watch all your videos and frequently I return to watch videos again that I have seen previously. I now watch your videos on my 75 inch TV and that makes me feel that I am a guest actually inside your house because the TV is so big. That is so much fun.

Hello everyone. Carolyn I really enjoy your videos. I have a small greenhouse that I have had for over 40 years. I read a lot about orchids and garden flowers. I have been interested in plants since I was a teenager. I grow Phals. pretty well indoors, but I do wish I had better windows. In my greenhouse I can bloom Cattleyas, Dendrobiums, and Phals. under the benches. Thanks for sharing, Carolyn. You brighten my days with your videos.

Hi Carolyn. You are so right about a struggling Orchid trying to flower as if it’s life depended on it. I have one that I’m keeping an eye on. Not too stable in the pot ( needs more roots) but it’s in spike with lots of buds. The leaves are very firm so I’ll let it flower. I need to see what colour it is. 😆. It’s been a while. Lol. There’s always something to learn with these lovelies. Looking forward to your garden tour. Stay well. Kisses for Maggie. 💋💕

excellent video. One tip I saw said when the bottom leaves are yellow and ready to be fold the leaf in half and split down the middle. When you get to the end pull around the pant an that area that wraps around comes right do each side.

Hi Carolyn,
Thank you for another great video...so nice when the student can learn from the Master!!!. And I love the way you always remind me to, do what I, was going to do, but didn't get around to it, ... am so thrilled to see a tiny leaf growing on your Monopodial stem...I really didn't think that would happen....read somewhere, if there were no leaves, the orchid was dead...Well, so much for that article😛 So nice to, have Maggie join us today....felt like I was sitting in the chair with her, next to you....❤ Glad to hear the baby bird is doing well....I have four birds of my own, so, they are close to my heart...
Love and Blessings to, you all, and Happy Planting.

I am with you as far as cutting spikes. Love to have the cut spikes in water where I can move it around and enjoy the flowers. My husband and I are the same too as far as not taking pills. I get that from my mother and heck, she lived to a couple months short of her 100th birthday so how can you argue with that! In every video of yours, you remind me to do something that I’ve forgotten to do in a long time. Repotting is one of those things! Good video! Glad the baby woodpecker is safe and happy! Maybe Maggie needs a friend so hopefully, the baby comes back to visit her. Or, you could buy her a new toy to play with! Also, she told me she doesn’t like her collar. It’s itchy. You know what I mean!!!! Hugs to you all!

Hi Carolyn!! I'm glad to hear that "Woody" is doing fine!!!
I, too, cut off my flower stems when the orchid appears to need re-hydrating. I also like to repot and check out the roots and tidy up the orchid by removing the yellow leaves, which are always the bottom ones. I think what you did will really help the orchid! All of your orchids look terrific!!! Thanks for sharing!

Wonderful video Carolyn. Great info. We had a pileated woodpecker in our yard. They are big! Happy you helped him.

Hello Carolyn,
following your suggestion a few weeks ago, I have cut the spike to one of my orchids with floppy leaves and keep on spraying the aerial roots every day and now she is doing well, the leaves are firm enough.
Love your lava rock fountain

If you will talk to your local dentist, they have old tools that they discard occasionally and they will just give them to you. This makes it easier to reach in and grab those old leaf remains.
