Best vehicle I've ever owned. I bought a 2007 put over 200, 000 abusive miles on it. Took it around the country across crazy terrain smashing up the body panels and up quad trails to the top of some of the Rockies peaks. All stock and no troubles! It never let me down. I bought another 2014 FJ a year ago and gave the 07 to my nephew. He just stopped by with it today and the damn thing runs perfect still.
As far as driving and visibility it's like most cars, you get used to it and it's no bother at all. The truck is an awesome long distance highway drive for an suv. The truck handles incredibly well it's just a matter of trusting the dynamics of the vehicle. As far as mirrors it's like any truck just make sure to adjust them to face a bit more outward and after a short while it'll be second nature using them and you get a great coverage.
Has one of the highest crash test rating and it has held the highest ranking for resale value out of any car made by a large margin for years.

Although I don't have a 2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser Trail Teams Ultimate Edition I do have a 2007 FJ with all the options for that model year. I've owned it since 06/06 and have had no problems with it in the 8 years I've had it! I'm a happy camper and I still love the rugged looks.

I tested My Crawl control in deep sand I stopped still in and She just crawled right out by itself !! Best over all vehicle I've had and I've had many many.

Fj is one of my favorite suv's... ever, the visibility is like any car you drive daily, you get used to it. The turning is great unlike you showed in the video. Even on normal roads I love how smooth it rides!! It an amazing suv for anything and everything you want highly recommend people to purchase one.

I bought an 07 years ago, traded it, kicked myself for doing it. Now I have another one. I'm keeping this one. Best vehicle I've ever owned. The dash is big and flat enough to put a pizza on it. How about them apples!

You're RIGHT! An FJ Cruiser is ALL OVER Charisma! You're WRONG! Turning radius is Great & driving on the road is doubly GREAT! Also I Love accelerating through the turns. IT DOES NOT DRIVE LIKE A BOAT! Are you kidding me? Who Paid you to say that? JEEP?
Driving on the roads is my favorite thing. It is REALLY SMOOTH, handles WELL and it TAKES on Pot Holes like a Champ! I can't take my hands off my FJ! I love the way it drives, I love the way it handles and my stock 11 speaker w/Subwoofer Bluetooth Stereo is LOUD & Clear! Bluetooth phone setup is also a dream.
Yeah Toyota may have discontinued making the FJ in 2014 but I OWN one. (Army Green 2014, YES!) 'fist pump'.

I'm not a huge fan of Toyotas in general, but I've loved and never had a problem driving the FJ Cruiser... I do a lot of back country skiing and it does really well when I go off road on the mountain

This guy gave the FJ a somewhat Negative positive review. He says that the FJ is "impractical", "its hard to see out of" and "it turns like a battleship"? My 2014 FJ Cruiser is getting me 20.34 mpg on average 340 miles per tankful. And we go shopping and drive me to and from the golf course so its extremely practical for me.
If you are a person unfamiliar with side mirrors I can understand why you'd feel blind spots in an FJ Cruiser. And I love leaning into the curves without brakes to get that exhilarated feeling as we whip around the turns. Driving like a boat is quite the exaggeration for enjoying the feel of the ride. And to beat it all the FJ is a fantastic daily driver being both comfortable and reliable and having the best world for their users.

The people dissing the FJ probably never leave the asphalt.

I've always wanted one of these. I love the look. It had the Hummer and Jeep Wrangler look. I love that.

Had an 07. Put on 150, 000 km's and sold it for $15, 000 to buy a 4runner. Less than 50% depreciation. Pretty damed good.

I bought one of the first 2007 FJC's on the lot in 06,  fully loaded. 6 speed full time drive train,  TRD wheels, 16"s not the 17's, 32"BFG ATko's,  not the original all season (17's and all seasons, RELLY!),  and TRD s.s. cat back exhaust. It was fast, if it was just a little wet I could eat any 2wd off the line and for something so off road capable the handling was amazing! I loved the full time. If I had to shift the transfer case and lock the center diff,  all the pavement based AWD/4WDs (all seasons 17's/18's & handle like cars) had already fallen behind part way up a hill in the mud or snow, If I needed more the FJC still had lo range 2.56:1,  a-trac and a rear locker. The Rubicon has an off road edge,  4:1 t-case, f&r solid axles,  lockers and 4.10:1 gears. On the road my FJC had a big edge,  more power, independent front suspension,  3.90:1 gears and full time 4wd, no KJ cold touch it. I put over 60k on it in  just over 3 years and not one problem. That's because like the FJ40 the FJC is still built by Toyota and Toyota= reliability. Jeep is owned by Chrysler LLC. and although they have come a long way they are not on par with Toyota's reliability and resale value. I have owned 6 Toyotas 86 2wd pickup 100k+, 93 2wd 4cyl pickup with a Lock Right locker 100k+, 98 4wd TRD off road SR5 6cyl pickup 150k+,  07 FJC 60k+, 09 4wd SR5 4cyl 30k+ (head on 70 mph),  I now have a 2010 Taco 4wd TRD off road SR5 4dr 60k and I love it ! But I wish I still had my FJC too, it was a lot of fun:)!

I got my Trails Team Heritage Blue LTD Ed. in 2014 just in the nick of time. Only thing I added was a Class lll trailer hitch (added by the dealer as it was then under warranty). No regrets whatsoever.

I own a fj cruiser, which upgrade to the icon 3 inch lift. The truck handles much better then stock. I love my fj and will keep it for life.

i completely dissagree with the visibility and turning radius! the visibility is DIFFERENT but the blind spots arn't a problem if you can shoulder check, also i can turn my fj around on a simple 2 way street with curbs if i'm as far right as possible without any reversing or a very small 3 point turn, no worse than any car i've had

Very good and encouraging video for prospective buyers of this incredible machine that I'm so obsessed to own. I would love to drive this car to any surface.
