Silly man this is not a lock to keep in or out it is a nice looking lock for kids and dogs, which I think is the best ever

Expensive as that lock is as well having need a Power Ranger to open it. Being outside around here during these harsh weather would immobilize that lock in a couple years. Must only can use the lock in a suitable year round climate. 🔫 ✊✌️

More like a latch than a lock. A lock requires a key.

You could open it with your foot at the bottom if you design some sort of thingy to push it open with your foot at the bottom of the door once you open the one part with your hand, so if you have groceries you can open it easily without using two hands.

So on the back side of the door there's a handle, but in this side you need to reach over the stop block and push the wood with your finger... brilliant 👏

Kinda nice. Except:
1. As with so many of these, they are designed around tight tolerances, and that doesn't work for big outdoor gates. They get dirty, muddy, ice, etc, and don't fit together perfectly -- it's more sloppy than that.
2. There should be a nice handle on the lever to unlatch it.

dont add the handle and you will be secure inside each time.. Just dont lock yourself out. ;-)))

It would even be effective against most humans, if you'd change the mechanism in a way so the handle is exacly, where every handle for a normal door would be and in order to open it you have to push up, instead of pushing down! Almost nobody would think of pushing up!
