If you pause right at 0:16 there are 4 STG-77/Steyr AUG rifles visible in the frame, 2 of which are equipped with IR laser aiming modules (Rheinmetall LLM-01s). Both modules are installed in the same general position, on the right side of the rifles. The difference being that the laser module on the "bottom" rifle is mounted via a picatinny rail that is built into the scope. The other rifle however is the older of the 2 (AUG-a1), and it's scope does not have any picatinny rails built on. Instead, the older AUG-a1 requires an adapter of sorts, an adapter that (I believe) attaches somewhere to the body of the scope, providing a mounting point for the IR laser module. I have been searching all over the internet for this "adapter"/mounting solution, and I can't find it anywhere. I'm looking for any information about it. It's name, part number, or pictures of the adapter by itself/detached from the AUG-a1. Any info would be greatly appreciated! *Also, I have found several pictures of Austrian soldiers holding STG-77 rifles that are using said adapter/mount. In most of these pictures, the rifles had an LLM-01, _and_ an Aimpoint red dot optic mounted or "piggybacked" on top of the integral scope as well. I don't think that the "piggybacked" red dots in the pictures are attached to their host rifles via the same adapter as the IR laser module. I think the red dot uses it's own separate adapter/mount, but I'm not 100% certain. If there is a separate adapter, then I'm looking for any info on that too lol. Anyways, if you've made it this far, thanks for reading! And again, any help is appreciated! Cool video btw.
