How inspiring to not only hear this beautiful indigenous ethnic music but also realize that after four generations past the codification of Apartheid (1948), the children of Zulu, Xhosa, Sotho, Tswana, and Dutch are joyfully singing together as one.

Used to sing Shoshaloza on the endless runs in the SA military. Running and singing in a group of Zulus singing their hearts out melts those miles away. Some of the best guys I've ever known.

It's 2:30am, my husband is snoring beside me, the doggies are all piled up on me, I can't sleep, and I am grinning broadly all myself in the dark through this beautiful medley.
