People please don’t do this. Too many people paralyzed or dead. I have been paralyzed for 24 years and it’s not fun being in pain 24/7. When I could walk it was scary for me just jumping off the rock at Waimea bay, it is crazy how high this guy is jumping from.

I been to that place, it clearly says not to jump or go to that place and it’s actually closed, but Many do that, the waves suddenly push them into the rock and it becomes difficult to swim . it’s a good place to watch sunset and not to die .

Every jump isnt safe.. i lost my best friend (a licensed swimmer) who moved there doing this.. also seen a swimming coach fall victim to the same situation.. now i see ppl never worry about rip currents while doing this smh.. live life but... #staySAFE

You can determine your approximate speed on impact before jumping by timing the rocks fall. Given objects fall at 9.8m/s^2, f it took 2.6 seconds until impact the rock would be traveling at 25.48m/s. To convert to mph multiply by 2.2 and you get 56 mph. You can then decide if you want to make the jump.

one bad mistake landing it's a bed crippled from neck down no movement you'll have to be fed bathed dressed I've seen it happen and dude was just jumping off a trampoline landed wrong now he has full-time nurses it's something to think about 🙏

When I was in Greece about 30 years ago, a guy slipped when he was cliff diving. He hit his back and head on the rocks on the way down and was probably dead before he hit the water. The sound of his head splitting open still haunts me to this day.

Would be good if people in these videos explained why they throw a rock first before jumping.

Because people might copy and kill themselves.

It’s to break the water btw, especially needed on water that isn’t moving at all.
