New technology is supposed to free up time so workers can enjoy time off with family, engage in creative pursuits or hobbies, you know, be human.
Instead it sends us to the soup line.
I don't think it's the technology but the employers' and inventors' mentality that is the problem.

These have been around for quite some time actually, theyre called Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) or Material Flow Robots (MFR). Most work by following a line on the ground to navigate to the requested product. The "AI" part is probably more of a buzzword than anything.
