About Satisfactory:

Satisfactory is a first-person open-world factory building game with a dash of exploration and combat. Pioneering for FICSIT Incorporated means charting and exploiting an alien planet, battling alien lifeforms, creating multi-story factories, entering conveyor belt heaven, automating vehicles, and researching new technologies. The Satisfactory Train update and Nuclear update also adds in trains, train stations, and nuclear power plant to enjoy, if you can handle the nuclear waste that is! In some of our videos, we go over Satisfactory tips and Satisfactory building tips, as well how to build a mega base and manufacturer setup. Our Satisfactory Early Access let’s play ep 1 was started a few months ago, but now we have hundreds of hours since Satisfactory ep 1 and have built a giant base with computer production, supercomputer production, a huge nuclear power plant and hundreds of trains! Our giant train system covers the entire map and gathers uranium, deals with our nuclear waste, and Satisfactory trains are a very satisfactory way of travel!
Satisfactory Update 3 also changed the game entirely adding pipes, Hyper Tubes, the Awesome Shop and Awesome Sink (aka Resource Sink), a new desert biome, a new vehicle, and a ton more! Recently though Satisfactory Update 4 released adding in the very Satisfactory Tier 8 with: plutonium, plutonium waste, a hover pack, the blender, a battery building, ziplines, gas, reservoirs and wells, drones, new space elevator parts, and a whole lot more too!

I have been playing this game since October of 2020, and I credit Kibz as one of the reasons as to why I started playing. My dilemma is I have never made it past stage 3 or 4 - I get so overwhelmed and have to start the whole thing all over again from scratch.

Instead of doing the pillar thing, you could also use the very short walls to fill downward on the foundation to make it look flush and match the texture.

Kibz: "We're going to max OC these even through we can't run them all simultaneously and let them back up into our storage room so we can run full tilt to replenish".

Kibz 2 minutes later: Time to slap an overflow sink on these so they'll run all the time!

Either way it looks great and should work more than well enough for the storage room.

You can actually zoop the walls down to 'half overlap' the foundations so it stays flush. Just general FYI for anyone who didn't know.

I personally cover the sides of the foundations with 1m concrete walls so that the texture matches.

The pillar trick is still nice to know.

what if you just placed a frame wall where you want and place the concrete walls off of it?

Just a useful bit of info for making this setup. Once you have calculated the fuel you will be making, you can calculate the total machines making recycled rubber/plastic, as these recipes use the same numbers to produce things. Of those machines 1/3 must make Rubber, 1/3 must make Plastic, and the final 1/3 will be whatever you want the factory to produce.

Towers are the new meta. Trying to organize your production lines vertically presents a challenge few are daring enough to attempt. To those intrepid souls, consider trying the 7x7 Challenge! The rules are simple: the challenge begins when you build the space elevator for the first time (hint: it's OK to move the space elevator). From that point on, all of your factory and storage bins must not encroach outside the volume centered on your space elevator with length and width measuring 55m (i.e: 49 foundations in a square minus a little around the edges for walls). Buildings subject to this rule are exactly these: everything with at least one conveyor input port that is not a merger, splitter or vehicle station. The challenge is complete when you unlock everything and have put 66 plutonium fuel rods into the AWESOME sink.

Like your vids. You could remove the two fuel generators, you use for fuel overflow, and place the packager and constructor for canisters in that location. And sync the access packed fuel you don't need for your jetpack. But liked your solution also.

Could you just place a frame wall down on the side of the foundation you want and add a normal wall onto that? Then delete the frame wall and go from there? That way you're not have to micro move the wall on the pillar

The other way you can do walls on foundations is to build the walls directly on the side of foundations which also makes the textures match up.
