Показать описание

We are happy to present you our CHRISTMAS SHOW. We prepared it in the class of PERFORMING ARTS.
This show has 4 parts. Each part tells about a FEELING that we relate to the moment of Christmas.
The feelings are: WELCOME ……… JOY ……… LOVE ……… and POWER
WELCOME:
We are going to start this show with a dance from NEW ZEALAND. It is called the HAKA.
The Haka can be used to prepare a group for a battle or a sport game.
But in the maori culture, it is also used to WELCOME important guests, or to CELEBRATE important achievements.
It will be our way to CELEBRATE that we have ended the first term successfully, and to WELCOME the son of God, Jesus.
JOY:
Now we are going to sing to you, a Christmas carol from TRINIDAD & TOBAGO, which is an island close to Venezuela.
It is called BABY BOY and it expresses our JOY that Jesus is born, it is a happy song and it makes us dance.
The song tells the STORY of Mary, Joseph, and the Wise Men. Some of us will play the characters of this story: they WALK from very far away and join in a small manger in BETLEHEM, where they celebrate the birth of a baby named Jesus.
LOVE:
The birth of Jesus fills us with LOVE, very deeply, to the bottom of our hearts. We are going to sing a song from KENYA, called JESUS I LOVE YOU. It says also, Jesus I need you, and Jesus, I trust you. We like to sing this song very much.
POWER:
Finally we are going to sing a song by an american rock band called IMAGINE DRAGONS.
We are also going to do different rhythms of BODY PERCUSSION. This song is about the ENERGY that you feel when you start SOMETHING NEW.
Merry Christmas to you all!
