The FAEMA (Fabbrica Apparecchiature Elettro Meccaniche e Affini) was born in Milan in 1945 thanks to Carlo Ernesto Valente.

His name is especially linked to the machine for bar Faema E61, designed in 1961, which introduces two important innovations, the water pump to give the ideal pressure of 9 atmospheres and the infusion, which allows you to wet the ground coffee with hot water before starting the extraction, thus ensuring the best extraction of aromatics substances.

With regard to coffee machines for domestic use, Faema produced between 50s and 70s, three machine models lever, the Faemina, the Veloxtermo and the Faema Baby.

The Faemina, an imposing machine made of cast bronze and weighing about 11 kg, features a closed-boiler with piston actuated by a spring, with the possibility to make steam. The EMI in Milan made a clone named Emina.

Great videos! I'm stoked to subscribe to a channel like this! A quick tip, for faster refills and just a cleaner more efficient method of refilling small home pressurized levers, put your brew water in you steaming pitcher like you did, then turn the machine off and steam the water until it depressurizes. Then your brew water is hotter and you're ready for your next shot quicker when you refill the now much hotter water.
