Girl... you need to throw a spare set of clothes in your carry on if your bags get lost that often. Since you wear XS I bet an extra outfit would take up no room at all. I always put a dress, cardigan and undergarments into my smallest packing cube and throw it in my carry on for an emergency.

As far as Tato's tummy issues goes, try feeding him a teaspoon of 100% pumpkin puree (you can buy it in a can & organic, but make sure it is 100% pumpkin puree & NOT pie filling with spices). It is very good for his digestive system and settles the tummy. My rescue dog had issues when we first got him and someone suggested we try pumpkin puree. Not only does he LOVE it, he eats it daily with each meal (one teaspoon each serving) and he has not had tummy issues since...and that was 7 years ago!

You should try packing an extra outfit and the most important essentials (toothbrush etc.) in your hand luggage to get you through a few days in case your bags get lost. I do this every time I fly and it makes me feel safer.

When you're in London, visit "Gay's the Word", it's the UK's first LGBT bookshop. It's amazing and has a lot of history. You can even see it in the movie "Pride"
