Look, IGN we Disagree more then what you think about this game, we need a true Gamer to tell us about the rating, the game DOES feel like a Mega Man game, Who Cares if there is different patterns everytime you fight the same boss, its creative & awesome in its own way & the graphics comparing it to the 8-bit graphics are great, that plus Mega Man fighting Ryu sounds awesome, so really the game deserves a 9.0 not a 7.0

Wish this game would hit PSN & XBOX LIVE someday.

When something is free, you take it or leave it. You're not owed anything. Especially when it was literally someone's personal project.

Did anyone else catch that typo at the start of the video. It said video interview instead of review...

"This game doesnt even remotely come close to the greatness of any of the 10 classic megaman games"
Thanks Capcom, I wonder what you guys are gonna do for his 30th anniversary

Has anyone noticed it has Video Interview at the start instead of review?

I find it all the more hilarious that he did a review like this, especially all the things he had said on this video, despite the fact that he's a hardcore megaman fan.
1. its too hard(so were the others)
2. It doesn't live up to standards of a classic megaman game(???)
3. The bosses are chosen at random(???)
4. The Bosses have unpredictable moves(which is where the "street fighter" portion comes in)
Again...he doesn't sound like he knows its a fan game.

Anyone noticed at the beginning it says interview and not review?

Colin, you're my favorite editor at IGN, but I think you love mega man too much for you to give this game a fair review.

Why does it say "Video Interview" at the start?

I think the main reason the developers eased up the boss weaknesses was to emphasize the boss battles. After all, they're basically the only think putting "Street Fighter" in the title. If we were to blow through them in seconds with their weakness, it'd be really unsatisfying. Getting to see how the Street Fighter characters transferred into the Mega Man universe is half the fun.

He didn't say it was too hard, he said the bosses were too hard compared to the levels. He said it was inconsistent, not "too hard." By "bosses chosen at random" he means that there are a few iconic SF characters and then a few that were just picked out of know where and aren't famous. And I'd have to disagree about the unpredictable bosses thing, it's a Mega Man game with SF characters in it, not an SF game. I found the randomness of the bosses frustrating as well. His review is pretty spot on.

We're lucky to even see Capcom recognize Megaman on his birthday.

Its not just any "free game", its Megaman's 25th birthday and their are some expectations from fans for it to be excellent

TOP TIP: Press and hold Pause and Jump, then press up down down down, and Guile's theme will play instead of all other music in the game.

Is giving a 10 to a free game so taboo? I mean it costs nothing, and it was a fan project to get megaman back on his feet. I think it deserves praise.
