Robot Wars Classics: Hypno-Disc vs. Splinter

Robot Wars Classics sees us look back at some of the best and most memorable battles in the show's history. First up is the brutal Series 4 Semi-Final battle between Hypno-Disc and Splinter.

The influence of Hypnodisc is still seen today in Robot Wars - it was (if my memory serves) the first robot that actually did any serious damage to rivals.

Splinter had some guts, you have to admit. And they got all over the place.

Hypno-Disc's best battle without a shadow of a doubt. I also believe that I'd find it sad that kids from today's generation that watched Robot Wars from when it got rebooted would say that "Carbide is the most destructive", but this is where robots like Carbide got their ideas from.
