The past month I had some literally hellish days that broke me in ways I didn't know that were posible. There were nights I couldn't recognize myself even trying and the only thing I could do was pray a desperate cry for help and some courage to keep going. To not give up to fear.

I may not be a devout Christian but really the song can speak to anyone. For anyone that struggles with something it feels like they can't make it to the next day. And this song speaks to that.

This song reminded me of Saul/Paul. I had just read about his life's story and how he, despite his imprisonment and aged and broken body from all the flogging and whips, carried through his missions to spread the messages that Jesus shared. I venture to say his devotion rivals that of Peter's. He accepted his fate, knowing the outcome would outlive him and spread like wildfire.

My favorite thing about studio rock videos is the little pee dance. 🤣 Like. On stage, they can move around and actually do something with all that energy. But in a studio, they have to stay in that same spot and just... wiggle. It's hilarious and adorable and I love them.
