The only way I found I can say no to a deal is to repeat to myself, “but I can get 100% off if I don’t buy it.” Even then it’s a struggle but sometimes it helps

My husband would get so mad when I would buy discounted and clearance food that “we didn’t need” until he went grocery shopping with me one day and realized how much groceries actually cost…suffice to say I now get free reign to buy anything clearance, especially if it’s meat!!

A lot of cattle are fed meat from other cows to help offset feeding prices (which is how Mad Cow disease got started), so the label is just saying that those specific cows weren't fed beef byproduct.

My boys call cauliflower "ghost broccoli, " so that's how I pronounce it now. 😆 Also, I made the sheet pan chicken brushetta last night, and it was delicious.

My oldest daughter decided to clean my food storage pantry. After I saw what she did, I was appreciated the gesture. Until I realized stuff was missing. When I asked her, she told me she threw away some stuff because they were past the best before date.
I believe I shed a tear.

I love watching grocery hauls. I'm so jealous of the "Kroger" clearance items. We don't have any of those stores here and I rarely find any type of clearance in my stores. Usually hair care products and things I'd never use. I do have Aldi, so that's where I save the most. Loss leaders have been few and far between on the other stores.
