Lime is a synthpop group from Montréal, Canada. The group was composed of husband and wife Denis and Denyse LePage.

Lime is most noted for its songs "Angel Eyes" (1983) and "Your Love" (1981 #1 US Dance). "Your Love" was featured in the 1982 movie Summer Lovers. Very early in their career, the group released an instrumental 12" single vinyl record called "The Break" under the name Kat Mandu. The single was successful and peaked at number three on the disco chart. Singer Denyse also wrote and sang on the record "Dancin' the Night Away" by Voggue. There were rumors that Denis and Denyse were in fact one person and Denis LePage did both vocals, a deep vocal for Denis and a falsetto type voice for Denyse[citation needed].

The band faded from popularity in the 1990s, and Denis LePage signed over rights to classic Lime royalties before releasing a new album, Love Fury, in 2002. In 1988, Denis and Denyse LePage were divorced. Instead Denis LePage teamed up with several vocalists (Amber Star Chaboyer, Benedict Ouiment, Chubby Tavares, Julie Courchesne, Marie-Piere Vaillancourt, and Mary Lassard) for the apparently final Lime-project, in which two younger singers, Joy Dorris and Chris Marsh, were chosen to tour and appear as Lime. Later, Rob Hubertz would replace Chris Marsh. Joy Dorris and Rob Hubertz continue to perform today, while Denis LePage from the original Lime continues to release records as the transsexual act Nini Nobless.

I'm 61 yrs old and still love to listen to this music. Memories yes, but a charge !! When the DJs back then mixed - it was continuous flow. People danced and had fun. Those were clubs.

The generation back then seemed way more fun then the generation today. I’m only 19 but I could feel the energy through the music and I love it.

I remember in the 80’s when there were dance groups that would battle each other. This was a song the Chicago All Stars performed to. Our generation wasn’t on their computer or phones, we were dancing to the best music EVER.

I was in college in Miami, 1985, when THIS hit the clubs. UNBELIEVABLE. Yes, Gen Z and Millennials, you truly DID miss that

This song at the Saint in NYC. Everyone went wild. And then at 4am the "planetarium" walls opened, the stage extended outward towards the dance floor, and then Grace Jones emerged. I cry when I think about those long-gone days. Nothing like it before or since.
