Being a mermaid is about so much more than just swimming in a mermaid tail, it is a way of life. I totally get the artist anxiety and the "am I too old for this" thing (yeah, 63 here). But your work is the sum of all your experiences in life as well as your artistic learning. Watching you put this together is a lesson in itself: so simple, some fabric and stitches... yet, as on a page of a book with a fabulous illustration... that simple thing becomes magic.

That tail is beautiful and it does so much justice. I do love the games and did play them when I was a child. I am trying to make a tail for myself. I'm thinking of a Acranine themed tail since it's my favorite fire pokemon.

Current projects; I just finished a surprisingly gift for you actually (hopefully get it in the mail this week), Ans next is altering a Monofin for my niece. We are going to Mermaid Megafest in June. After will be finishing my swords for Anime Midwest in July.

In fact, I am 26 years old and getting my very first mermaid tail soon--something that I always wanted ever since I was 4 years old. Spywho???? (frantically does google search...) Seriously cool adaptation of the dragon design, instead of literally just doing his tail (meh) this incorporates awesome elements of the whole character design into a functional mertail! WOW!

So cool I ADORED Spyro as a kid (still do- dragons yay) I'm working on a design for a Leviathan tail; Inspired by the Song "The last Leviathan" by The Fisherman's Friends (a really cool band who recently got a movie XD they do sea shanties and such) But yeah I'll be using some different fabrics for it such as NFT (synthetic fur) to simulate sea-grass/algae growing on this ancient being. Also wanna make Barnacles for it XD

I am currently making Arya Stark's needle (the tv-series version). all that's left to do is the handguard and crossguard, the smaller details, handlewrap and paint. no mer-related stuff though, I am planning an Arya cosplay so needle is what I started with.
