A large amount of adults that experience ABA therapy as kids say it was traumatic and still affects them as adults. They may have learned new skills but wouldn’t put their kids through it. ABA is also ripe with un reported conflicts of interests in its research. Not trying to poo on your video just trying to point out things you never mentioned in your description of ABA. My daughter is very high functioning but has trouble making friends it makes me so sad she is too nice and children are so mean to her. She is 12 and was given a diagnoses at age 3.5 and didn’t need ABA. She did ot and sp
But I feel she needs therapy for socialization so not sure where to start

Autism isn't an illness which requires treatment! It means having a brain which has developed differently to an average brain and there are many positives with being autistic. However, some autistic people have greater support needs than others.

I am what you refer to as a high-functioning autistic person and I don't consider that I need any kind of treatment. I'm extremely happy with the person I am. Please educate yourself on this subject before making videos!
