I love parks but the Save Victoria Park are a bit bonkas. I cycle through Vic park often, almost always empty. Was a golf course, so previoulsy was not public anyway. The swim centre will be built on land that is not used at all. The new stadium leaves heaps of green space anyway.

A stadium that is already out of date and to small. It needed to be one hundred thousand seats to attract sports and concerts from Melbourne Sydney and any other city in the southern hemisphere

I pity the rowers…has Chrisafulli got a plan for the crocodiles in the Fitzroy River so they don’t become dinner….Chrisafulli has broken his promise so pity for those who voted for him…now we just need to see what Campbell Newman plans to do about his promise to fight for Victoria Park….no doubt Seven are going to sell this because they have the rights to broadcast….we are going to have that shoved down our throats for years to come.
