KX 080 I work with has rubber and they cut into soft ground super easy, are these any wider and do you see a difference compared to the rubber tracks. I wonder if you can get wider metal tracks?

Starting to look for my first excavator. I’m curious why you would change over to steel tracks? Because the one I’m looking at has steel tracks but I was thinking about changing to rubber tracks. It looks like the drive sprockets and rollers are all the same? Steel or rubber tracks are interchangeable on the undercarriage?

Hey have a couple of questions for you. Did you have those specially made for your excavator? Are you happy with them? Have they lasted longer or better than the rubber ones? Lastly I've been wanting to get a set for my Takeuchi tb153fr but can't find anyone who makes them and would like to find a company that does any suggestions or do you know of anyone near the Kansas City, Missouri area? Do not know why when the old tracks were off did not pressure wash undercarriage to do good inspection, seemed like best time to save on maintenance
