I've Been Online For Hours & Haven't Gotten A Ride Request (Uber/Lyft)

Nope this always happened when u are about to hit a bonus they do this so you will give up on trying to get it. I know this bec they force u to go to air port. And even if u are near staple center after a laker game u wont get anything

lyft has same issue all of a sudden. worked it for months now all of a sudden no rides. I few people got problem while others are getting rides. it's a mess

I've never gone hours without a ride but yesterday I was out for 4.5 hours and got 4 rides, each of them minimum fares...that came to about 12 dollars for 4.5 hours work. I'd have rather been home relaxing

I wrote an Uber Survey. Told them what’s good and what’s bad about it. The next day I received 80% less ride requests. Called Uber multiple times, no one knows the issue. I’m about to quit driver for Uber completely.

I felt this video was useless. I am driving Lyft and have been on for almost 10 hours including yesterday and today. Yesterday I got 3 rides and today I got 3 so far. My time was evenly split. Last week I got about 6 rides a day. Ride-sharing is absurd.

I "think" that I drive for have went through all of the "on-boarding"....I guess....I have never accepted a job and not known that I had the there is an interview, maybe, even, a congratulations .Do you know what I mean...? I "THINK" I'm an Uber press the "GO" button....but I don't see anything after that....no rides....no alerts...no anything....! Do I leave the app open n my phone? Is there some sort of an alert that will wake me up to tell me that someone needs a ride?
Why the hell can Uber not answer these questions?

3rd Day as an Uber Driver and 0 pings since 3:30 PM and its 10:00 PM. 💩💩💩 all day driving around trying to get a ping.

This no longer applies (Jan 2020) I tried to request myself and it linked me up with another driver 5 minutes away (of course I cancelled it)... I called Uber and they said it doesn’t matter if you’re the closest driver to the rider, there is a que... yup, thats enough for me to look for another job. This was fun when there was strategy involved to beat the competition but now it’s like a participation trophy gig 👎 fuck the que, bring back the old system!!!

I have a problem since saturday with Lyft not getting rides and when I get one I accept and does not take me to the rider does anybody have an idea what could be the issue, Lyft keep telling me to make sure my filters are off

People you guys really cannot be that stupid . I drive for uber and Lyft and I manage to see myself they cherry pick driver example. If you are a veteran driver you may get 10 rides vs new driver 30 plus why they know the veteran would continue to drive . More rides for the newbie keep them motivated and on the road. Welcome to America.

Friday labor day weekend i did 11 in 8 hrs but other drivers were back and forth and also was outside the bar talking to my friend and 2 drivers picked up right where i was. I was the closest to it so how did they get it.

After my first ride ever (for 2.50$hahaha) now I’m wainting over one hour on Ohare airport and waiting for a rider without success... its one of the busiest places in the USA... It’s impossible that in a wrong place

This exact thing happened to me today. Did 3 Uber eats deliveries and no passengers. Switched to Lyft and picked someone up right away. I will however try the solution you suggested.

Im an uber driver and uber sent me a message saying there are not any ride requests . Has any other drivers had uber send this message ? I sat for about an hour and then uber sent a message claiming no one is requesting rides . Try again later.
Can someone please answer this question ??
