You’re channel is becoming one of my favorite and I love seeing so many different places. Just in recent months you have several US cites, a couple Central American countries, a couple South American countries, a few Middle East, and at least one Asian country (Vietnam).

I had price shock too when I was there few months ago. Everything was expensive in SF!! The real kicker was 'some' restaurants supposedly charge a health tax or whatever it was to your dine-in bill. It was easily another extra $20+ on top of the 15%-18% tip. I told my wife we won't be visiting again in the foreseeable future.

Check out the Mission District, Chinatown, Japantown. I live across the Bay but I’m in SF a couple of times per week.

The Fisherman's Wharf area used to be so crowded even on a week day. The pandemic really hit the travel or tourist industry hard globally.

I used to love traveling to other us cities but started to realize there are so many better places to go outside the country for literally 1/2 to 1/3 the price.

I feel lucky to have been up there to SF 6 times since 2011, most recently in 2019 before the pandemic hit that city hard.

It's crazy this city is more expensive than my city Munich. Munich is freaking expensive in all of Germany. But it's much way safer and cleaner than SF.
