Pickup Vectorworks Architect with Jonathan Pickup Episode 8
Показать описание
In this episode, we looked at Layers, Levels, and Stories in Vectorworks 2021. We looked the detail of layers, levels, and stories, and we looked at the default values and how to change them, how to create your own levels, and how to use levels with symbols.
Then we looked at the detail label and how you can edit this to suit your own graphic style. While we were looking at the drawing labels, the users wanted to know about creating a neatly organised set of details on a sheet. Part of drawing details can be using imported images (sketches), but I also show how to use referenced images that can be updated outside Vectorworks and updated automatically inside Vectorworks.
We looked at creating a Renderworks texture. There are 4 main parts to the texture, image (or colour), reflectivity, transparency, and bump. We looked at each of these and how they affect making a texture.
We Looked at making a template file. I do not use the standard Vectorworks template, I have my own. The reason for this is that there are things that I want in my template that the standard file does not have.
Finally, we looked at materials. This is just a very quick look at using materials.
